Sassy Nanny Farmstead Cheese is northern Wisconsin's premier artisanal goat cheese maker. We make several delicious types of goat cheeses that you will enjoy for special and all occasions.
I raise, tend, and milk the goats and make the cheeses with great care and exacting standards of quality. You will be able to taste the distinctive difference of our premium quality, handcrafted cheeses made in small batches.
Sassy Nanny has been purveying farmstead goat cheeses in northern Wisconsin since 2010. We sell our competitively priced products at retail and wholesale markets within a 100-mile radius of our Herbster, Wisconsin farm (this would include Duluth/Superior, Hayward, Ashland, Cable, Iron River, and Eau Claire).
Our goals are to provide superior quality artisanal goat cheeses that you will find delicious and delightful, to promote the production and availability of locally-produced foods, and to practice impeccable animal husbandry and progressive land management. The nutrition and health of the milking herd is closely monitored, and consequently, confidence about attesting to the benefits of their milk and cheese is a corner stone of this business. There is complete control over every component that is involved in making Sassy Nanny cheeses and I'm confident that you, the consumer, will note the difference this attention to
detail makes in the final product.
